Analysis of Serum Pharmacochemistry of Hederagenin using UPLC-Q-TOF/MS

This study investigated the changes of plasma absorbed components in rats after oral administration hederagenin. Serum pharmacochemistry analysis hederagenin was carried out to understand its metabolic body. Biological samples were collected and then migration hederagenin-containing serum established by UPLC/Q-TOF-MS technique. Possible metabolites obtained for comprehensive through relevant studies regulation broken bonds molecular structure At about 10.262 min, ion peak M/Z 471[M-H]- detected negative mode prototype product associated fragment ions could be only at 1, 3, 6, 9, 12, 24 h administration. Seventy-one signal peaks potential found drug serum. Based on bond energy characteristics structure, 47 possible metabolite-related decarboxylation, dehydration, demethylation or methyl shift, deoxygenation, ring opening, unsaturated biformation deduced, signals 35 identified. Hederagenin can metabolize many products vivo. Important information metabolism hederagenin, which is useful fully understanding mechanism action, provided this study.
